Become a Flight Volunteer with YAPA: Escort Dogs to Their Forever Homes

Join YAPA in our mission to relocate dogs to loving homes around the globe. We’re seeking flight volunteers to accompany dogs on their journey, with no additional costs involved for the volunteers. All expenses are covered by YAPA and our partner rescue organizations, and our team will handle all the necessary documentation.

How It Works:

1. Express Your Interest: The first step is to contact YAPA at ypapypap@gmail.com. Show your interest in becoming a flight volunteer and provide your flight details. We are particularly looking for flights from Incheon (ICN) to destinations in the US, Canada, or Frankfurt Airport.
2. Flight Schedule Coordination: After you've contacted us, we'll work to match dogs ready for their new homes with your flight schedule.
3. Dog's Flight Booking: Once matched, provide your flight number so our team can reserve a spot for the dog. Please note, we only facilitate direct flights, and the dogs will be safely placed in the cargo, not in the cabin.
4. Pre-Flight Check-In: Arrive 2-3 hours before your flight to help with the dog's check-in process, taking roughly 30 minutes for dog check in.
5. Upon Arrival: Collect the dog from the bulky luggage area next to regular baggage claim and proceed through customs, submit the prepared document to the custom.
6. Meeting the Rescue Team: A partner rescue team will be waiting at the arrival gate to take the dog into their care, and YAPA member will be with you online no matter what time you arrive on your destination. 
7. Saying Goodbye: It’s time to say goodbye to your furry companion, knowing you’ve played a crucial role in their journey to a happier life.
