Everypawdy, meet Ashy!
Ashy is a large and handsome jindo boy who has been with us at the shelter since 2019. Ashy is another one of our long term staying doggos and has been here for almost 5 years now, watching his whole life pass him by from behind a kennel door. It is hard to believe nobody has taken interest in Ashy seeing as how he is such a happy-go-lucky boy! He is very energetic and loves to explore the outdoors with our volunteers. Oftentimes, he is so focused on all the things happening around him, he doesn’t realize the volunteers offering him treats! But once that initial excitement and interest wanes after a good 10 minutes, Ashy is lovely and very food motivated.
This is what one of our volunteers had to say about Ashy:
“Here's cutie Ashy! It was difficult to get good photos of this guy as he was constantly on the move! So active! He has such a powerful curled up tail (is it weird to say a dog's tail is handsome?) and is full of energy! He pulled a lot on the leash but eventually calmed down and walked well with me. He's not so good with other dogs although he is good with humans.”
Ashy is looking for a furever home that will allow him tons of exercise and adventure times. He is dog reactive, so we are hoping Ashy can find a home where he can be the only dog in the household. If you would like to give Ashy his chance to live together with a loving family in a cozy home, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process.

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
