Atlas
Atlas
Everypawdy, meet Atlas! This gorgeous Jindo mix is an exact copy of his mom - both in looks and personality. This boy has been at the shelter since he was found with his mother, Celeste, and his siblings Orion, Rhea, Lyra, Stella, and Venus. Having been raised in the shelter, he's super friendly towards humans but is unsure of the outside world.
Atlas is a volunteer favourite - but with a personality like his, why wouldn't he be? He's always ready to come up for a hug and cuddle with his human volunteer. The more attention, the better! He's come a long way since he was a young, boisterous puppy. He walks well on the lead, when he's relaxed, and is respectful of his volunteer human. While he still has some of his puppy energy, he knows when to settle down to have a nice relaxing moment. Atlas is quite attached to humans and will match the energy of his human handler - the more confident you are, the more confident he is. While he is great with humans, the outside world is still a place that he's getting used to. He's not too comfortable outdoors, due to lack of exposure. Given the right exposure, this young boy will become a confident member of any household. He just needs someone to give him the time to learn what he needs to know in the outside world.
Atlas is now looking for his own loving forever family he can cuddle with and have all of the fun adventures he could possibly have! If you would like to adopt the loving and active Atlas, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the application process.

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
