Bobby
Bobby
Bobby, who also goes by Bob, is a white male jindo dog who was admitted to the shelter in spring of 2022. The shelter staff who brought him in noted that he was such a gentle and handsome boy! Let’s hope he can finally be swept up into a loving cozy home before the rest of his life passes him by.
Gentle Bobby is a textbook jindo dog - regal face, snow white fur, independent nature, medium energy levels, and laser focus on yummy treats! Bobby loves to go on leisurely walks with volunteers and will welcome pets and head scratches as he enjoys sniffing about on the trail. When the treats come out, Bobby puts on the brightest, sweetest smile and his tail will start spinning like a helicopter
Although Bobby is extremely gentle to his human friends, the shelter staff noticed that he was sometimes reactive to passing dogs and so he has been living in his own private kennel since he arrived. Although this means he can be more safe and relaxed, it also means that he is living quite a lonely and isolated life unless he can be adopted into a home with a loving human family. Plus, with Bobby’s love for treats and trust in people, we think that he could be very receptive to training - if only he is given the chance!
Bobby could really use a loving family who will get him out of the shelter and into a cozy home! Bobby would do best in a home without any other animals, getting all of the love for himself. Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
