Cory
Cory
Cory is a male jindo mix who has been at our shelter since July 2019. He is one of our long-stay resident jindos who has yet to find a home. With his slightly toasted fur, infectious smile, and the cutest pink nose, Cory exudes confidence and charm. As a distinguished gentleman, he appreciates only the finest pets and treats from humans and will demand cuddles from our volunteers. In fact, Cory has earned the nickname "Jumper" because he often leaps into the air when people walk past his kennel! All four paws leave the ground, and it's as if he's levitating!
Here's what some of our volunteers have said about Cory:
"Cory, also known as Jumper in Korean, loves jumping. Every time his favorite people walk by his kennel, he can't help but show his excitement. However, once you bring him outside and start walking, he calms down and becomes focused on sniffing around. He enjoys short runs and generally pays little attention to other dogs. Another thing Cory loves is snacks, including duck, chicken, and anything else he can get his paws on. Potential owners just need to be aware that he may poke his head into your snack pouch and gobble up everything inside."
"He is super hyper and super cuddly. He'll run into your arms, bury his head in for pets and affection, and it's just the cutest habit ever!"
Cory is searching for a fun-loving and affectionate family who can provide him with a forever home. If you would like to adopt Cory, please send us an email or submit an adoption application form. We'll be happy to assist you with the adoption process and help you get started on bringing Cory into your life.

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
