Darby
Meet Darby! Darby is a friendly jindo mix girlie who was admitted to the shelter in March of 2023. She had a leash when she was found, so we were hopeful that her owner would come and look for her….but Darby had no such luck. This pretty lady is now looking for a loving family who will love her forever! Darby loves people and loves to go for walks! She gets so excited whenever a human friend walks past her kennel to say hello, and she can be quite the cuddlebug! Unfortunately, shelter life is stressful for an energetic girl like Darby, as she can only come out for a short walk about once per month. Unable to get proper mental stimulation, Darby once got nipped by her kennelmate (which is why she is wearing a bandage in some of her photos) just from being overexcited….she could really use a home where she will get the normal amount of mental stimulation and love that any good girl like her deserves! Please contact us if you would like to open your home to sweet Darby.

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.
-
Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
