Dennis
Dennis
Dennis is a 13kg male mixed breed boy who came to our shelter in June 2022. He is estimated to be of an older age, but still acts upbeat and waggy like a younger dog! When Dennis was admitted after being found alone on the streets, we immediately noticed how skinny he was and how his fur was sparse and coarse, indicating that he had been struggling on his own. Since then, Dennis has been gradually gaining healthy weight and his coat has become fuller! Dennis is a joyful dog who enjoys going on relaxed walks with volunteers, especially if there are treats involved!
Here's what one of our volunteers had to say:
"Meet handsome boy Dennis. It was such a pleasure walking him. He appears to have medium energy and walked very well on the leash without pulling. He absolutely adores treats! Once he realized I had them, he couldn't stop making eye contact. Every few seconds, he would turn to look at me, wagging his tail, eagerly awaiting a treat. I tried teaching him to sit, knowing how motivated he is by treats. He managed to sit once, but didn't do it consistently. However, I'm confident that with more time and training, he will learn quickly. Dennis gets along well with his kennelmate Katya and is affectionate with people. He is definitely ready for a home to call his own. I can see him fitting into any family and becoming a lifelong best friend. He deserves to be showered with all the love in the world."
Dennis is looking for an amazing forever family who can provide him with a peaceful and loving home where he can enjoy his golden years. If you would like to adopt Dennis, please send us an email or submit an adoption application form below, and we'll assist you in starting the adoption process!

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
