Estimated to have been born in 2019, Doompi is a very cute short-legged jindo-mixed breed female who was admitted to the city pound, Yongin Pound, in 2020. We don't know what she had experienced in the past, but it had made her incredibly timid with a lot of fear-based aggression. Because of this, the city pound condemned Doompi to live a year in isolation. After receiving no interest in adoption from anyone, the pound immediately placed her on their Euthanasia List. We hated that poor play in tactics that the pound played. So, luckily, on the last day before euthanasia, we were able to step in and rescue Doompi!

Since then, we admitted Doompi to a training school and she has been learning diligently with a loving trainer there on how to learn to trust and love people again. She has been doing so well at the training school and it absolutely warms our heart to see her eyes bright and shining with new life as she learns so much about us and about opening up herself! This is really all it takes to change a dog's life, safety and a lot of TLC.

We believe Doompi is ready to meet her new forever family. Doompi is now looking for a lifelong friend who can give her the time and gentle love she deserves in every way possible. If you would like to adopt Doompi, please send us an email and we'll help you get started on the adoption process.

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
