Everypawdy, meet Ella! Ella is a medium sized jindo mix girl who was admitted to the shelter in July 2023 at around 5 months old with her sister, Della. These two sweethearts have grown up behind shelter kennel walls and unfortunately have not had too many opportunities to come out and experience the world outside of their kennel, and so they are still learning how to let their guard down in unfamiliar areas. However, we have seen Ella and Della open up tremendously after just a short trip outside, and we can tell that they have some really lovely personalities hidden just beneath the surface! They relax when we hold them, and they will sometimes even reward us with tiny kissies and nuzzles to show us that they are trying their best to grow confident and show their love.

Compared to her sister, Ella has a slimmer and cutely twisted snout, and her constantly wagging tail always lets us know that she is eager to open up even when the rest of her body isn’t quite showing it yet! Out of the two, Ella seems  more confident in approaching people. She also asks for belly rubs sometimes!

Ella seems like a like truly lovely pup who simply hasn't had the right conditions to thrive yet. We know that she can be a great and loyal companion if only given the chance to experience a loving home where she can receive the love and patience she has missed out on until now. Ella gets along with other dogs and so she would probably do well in a multi-pet home. If you’d like to give Ella the second chance that she truly deserves,  please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process.

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
