Eloise
Eloise
Eloise is a sweet 20kg jindo mixed breed female who arrived at our shelter in August 2021. Eloise was found on the streets all by herself. It was noted on her admittance card that she was very wary of people approaching her and heavily guarded herself against those who were trying to help her get to the shelter. At the end, they had to administer anesthetics to capture her and move her to our shelter. Eloise was probably very scared and nervous when they were trying to get her, but now that she’s here at the shelter, she is such a calm and gentle girl! Eloise is sweet towards our hooman volunteers and will come up to us asking for pets! She listens to us well and really enjoys gentle affection from us. Eloise gets a bit shy when it comes to new people but she warms up quickly when she realizes she can trust you.
Here’s what one of our volunteers had to say about Eloise:
“This was my first time meeting Eloise, but I’ve been told that this Good Girl has come a VERY long way since she first arrived at the shelter last year! She used to be extremely shy, and she wanted nothing to do with volunteers or human contact in general. In fact, she had never been out for a walk until this day. But look at her now! Eloise and I walked, we ran, and she let me pet her with barely a hint of the shyness that used to be her trademark. Eloise even knows how to shake hands Although this sweet girl wasn’t crazy about the idea of me getting right up next to her, she showed me an amazing amount of trust. She had never seen me before, yet she was happy to go for a walk and also sit calmly for lots of petting. If Eloise can make that kind of progress at the shelter, just imagine how she would thrive in a home environment.”
Eloise would do great with a family who can give her gentle and consistent love and show her the world is safe and friendly! If you would like to adopt Eloise, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process.

Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.
