Esme is estimated to be born in 2021. She is a female jindo/kvd mixed breed who arrived at our shelter in April 2021 with her sister, Elsa, and brother Eric. They came to our shelter as tiny little puppies and have been growing up here since. We call them the E-siblings, and they are known to be our shy-est bunch. They were shy towards people as pups and because they grew up at the shelter, they didn’t get a chance to experience consistent human love. But they really do love each other and their kennelmates! The E-siblings all love to be outside in the playpen, running around and chasing after their furfriends. Esme, in particular, loves to explore the playpen’s every corner and ask her siblings to chase her! She’s a cute tanish color and has the cutest large floppy ears! Esme, though, is still cautious and takes time getting close and opening up to humans.

"Check out Esme and her range of facial expressions as she went through a walk with us. I loved her face when she was soaking in the sun.
She likes checking out what's happening, through sniffing the ground, coming close to explore the smartphone camera and looking to people for directions when she didn't know which way to go. It takes a bit of time to warm up to her, but I think she is smart, and she learns what's going on very quickly. She was also quite comfortable with other dogs in her vicinity, even if they were barking."

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.
Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
