Harold
Harold
Harold is a big majestic Jindo boy who graced the shelter with his presence at the beginning of last year. He is a bright happy soul who connected with the volunteers even on his first walk out as he showed his intelligence through his knowledge of how to do various commands to get yummy treats and love from humans. A lover of nature, exploration, and treats, our Harold has a unique expressive face due to one eye being a bit smaller than the other. His big happy smile is contagious as sits happily for his next treat!
Here’s what Harold’s favorite volunteers had to say about him after their first walk together:
“This very smart and well-mannered gent didn’t have a name yet because he’s a new arrival, so he has been dubbed HAROLD! Harold the Great would be a more fitting title, actually. Harold sits for treats automatically and without hesitation, and he can even shake hands. He clearly has had some training in his past. I don’t know what led him to be in a shelter, but I really hope his stay is temporary. Harold is smart and gentle, and of course he also likes to go out and explore. This good boy must have had a home once. Hopefully we can help him find a new one!”
"Harold is a 3 year old Jindo. He is about 20kg, but is as sweet and chill as they come. Just check out his big smile, and how he just chose to hang out. Harold is not the most high energy dog but that's great as he is just relaxed most of the time. He is a fan of salad more than snacks - keeping the salad away from him might just be the only difficult part when it comes to taking care of Harold."
Harold is looking for a forever home where he can live out the rest of his days spreading his smile to a kind forever family. If you are interested in adopting Harold, send us an adoption application and we will get you started on the adoption process!

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
