Joni
Joni
Joni is a cute medium jindo mix who came to the shelter with her son, Bruno, at the end of February 2022. Joni and Bruno were found together on the roads and the two of them were brought back to our shelter to get them out of living on the streets. Fortunately Bruno has since found a wonderful forever home, yet momma Joni still waits for her turn.
Whenever Joni comes out she loves to hang out near a group of volunteers with a bag of delicious treats that she will gladly take! Despite her waggy tail and love of treats, Joni is still very much learning how to trust humans, and is in the process of building the confidence to go on walks and get pets from people. With time and patience, she has allowed volunteers to touch her, but obviously true progress will really only be made once she is in a kind, loving forever home where she can understand that being in human company is consistently a safe, happy, and fulfilling experience! She definitely has made progress since arriving and has even become comfortable going on walkies with volunteers!
Joni deserves the chance to really trust and love and come out of her shell to show her humans what a wonderful, cute companion she was born to be! If you are interested in giving a chance to sweet Joni and filling her life with love and treats, send us an adoption application and we will get you started on the adoption process!

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
