Kenny

Kenny is one of our long-term residents at the shelter. He has been with us since August 2017 and has spent most of his life here! Even though Kenny doesn't have a family, he remains incredibly optimistic and positive. He has a cheerful personality and absolutely loves spending time outdoors with our volunteers. He enjoys walks, cuddles, and the extra delicious treats our volunteers offer. Kenny is quite the charmer! His kennel mate, Tania, has fallen head over heels for him, and everyone at the shelter adores Kenny. You can often see him cheerfully smiling as he's carried back inside because he adamantly refuses to move when returning to the shelter each time.

"Kenny is a sweet, gentle giant with a squishy face that's simply lovable. He's highly motivated by treats and walks well on a leash after an initial 10 minutes of excitement when outside. Kenny also has an admirer, Tania, though it's completely one-sided. Poor Tania! Kenny is more interested in sniffing the grass. Oh, and he absolutely refused to go back inside the shelter, so I had to carry him. He looked so happy that I had to carry his giant self."
