Luna is a young female mixed breed who arrived at our shelter at only 2 months old with her 4 other siblings in April 2021. Luna is famous for her adorable asymmetrical ears - one stands up straight but the other is in a seemingly permanent flop! Luna grew up at the shelter with her siblings Chai, Nellie, Moomin and Zuko, and though they are all grown to full size now, cute little Luna is clearly the smallest doggy in her litter! Two of her siblings have found their forever homes now, but little Luna still waits for her turn. She has yet to be adopted and is still looking forward to growing up with a family. Since she has been growing up at the shelter, she is a little shy towards new people but she comes out of her shell very easily with time and love!
Here's what one of our volunteers had to say about Luna:
"Luna is a little bit timid around people that she is not familiar with, but that could certainly be fixed with some snacks. And when she was around those that she knows well, she was sooo lovely and she went hunting for belly rubs. Luna certainly would make a good, cute companion in any home."

Here’s a message from Luna:
“Hello, everypawdy! My name is Luna and I’ve been growing up with my four other siblings here at the shelter for about almost 2 years now. I don’t know much about life outside of my kennel, but I’m sure it would be wonderful! I am so excited to meet my future best friend and see more of the outside world! I am curious about everything because everything is so new and mysterious! I can’t wait to have my own family to go outside and play with!”
Luna would do great with a loving family that can be patient with her as she learns about the world and comes out of her shell! If you would like to adopt Luna, please submit an adoption application and we’ll help you bring home this sweet girl!
