Everypawdy, meet Maon of the “Hangeul” siblings! Maon(마온) and his four siblings - 나온, 다온, 가온, and 라온, were each named after the first five consonant sounds of the Korean alphabet. They are a family of lab/jindo mix puppies who arrived as tiny babies earlier this year, and have since grown into the most wholesome doggies who are estimated to be around 17~20kg at full size.
Thanks to our Saturday puppy socialization volunteers, The Hangeul puppies have all had lots of experience and happy times with both humans and other doggies! On top of that, they all have a naturally friendly temperament and appear to be more lab than jindo - friendly, goofy, playful, love water, love greeting strangers, and definitely not picky with treats.
Maon is the most friendly & affectionate of his family! From early on he seemed to naturally fall in love with every human he saw. He went wild with happiness hearing baby voices and getting cuddles! He would instinctively ask for hugs and even try to sneak in between other doggies being cuddled by humans in order to join in on the love. He’s also just a playful, doofy lab who likes to dig up holes, play with chew toys, and swim during hot summer days! He is a confident boy who is happy to try new adventures. Maon and Daon look very alike, but Maon has a yellower coat and yellow ears.
Only one of the 5 Hangeul puppies has been adopted so far, and we would love to see Maon find his own bright future while he is still young! If you would like to give Maon or one of his lovely siblings a life full of walks, cuddles, and treats, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the application process.
