Mochi
Mochi
Mochi is a 17kg female jindo/shiba mixed breed who arrived at our shelter in August 2020. She was found on the streets wearing a red collar being a cute, gentle girlie to the people who rescued her. Mochi has been here for over a year now without anyone to claim her or decide to adopt her. Mochi is such a sweet skinny girl who loves cuddles and love from all our hooman volunteers. During the winter, she also has to wear a scarf because she’s a skinny legend who gets cold easily. We can totally see her lounging by a cozy fireplace in her future forever home (safely!) during snowy winters!
Here’s what one of our volunteers had to say about Mochi:
“This is Mochi! She is a very friendly dog who is not only friendly towards humans but also very nonhostile towards other dogs as well. During our walk, she would often look back to see if her other dog friend was also following, and if she wasn’t, she would wait or go back to her! She has the mindset of “We are in this together.” Also, she would sometimes come up to you too for some pets! However, it might be important to note that she can be powerful and energetic as well!”
Mochi is looking for a forever family who can love her and give her a warm home for the rest of her life. If you would like to adopt Mochi, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process.

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
