Moet is a senior male Chow Chow weighing 30kg, who arrived at our shelter in October 2016 and holds the record as one of our longest-staying dogs.

He is people-friendly; when we sit near him, he approaches with a warm smile, offering hugs and allowing people to touch his paws. Even when meeting a stranger for the first time, he enjoys playing and appreciates warm cuddles. When teased or signaled to play, he happily engages and friendly plays. Moet remains calm, refraining from jumping on people or becoming overly exuberant, even in noisy environments.

Moet is also friendly with other dogs, displaying no aggression or timid signs, even when surrounded by multiple dogs. In the shelter, where around 30 street dogs are protected together, Moet's gentle and friendly nature allows him to roam freely within the enclosed area.

Proficient on a leash, Moet matches the handler's speed and promptly stops with a slight pull on the leash, maintaining pace. While it appears he received professional leash walking training, it's not explicitly known. He responds immediately to the handler's cues, following the same side during direction changes and patiently waiting on corners as guided, when a car approaches.

While Moet has amazing friendly nature, he is uncomfortable with medical examinations. During regular check-ups in the shelter, he doesn't easily allow the vet to take his blood or check his teeth. While this behavior might change when he finds his family who can be by his side during examinations, it's difficult to foresee in the shelter.

Moet deserves to find a loving forever family where he can live out the rest of his life in peace. If you'd like to adopt Moet, please send us an adoption application, and we'll assist you in starting the adoption process.

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
