Nemo
Nemo
Everypawdy, meet Nemo!
He came to the shelter back in 2021, and it's been an incredible journey watching him grow. When he first arrived, he was nervous and wary of his surroundings. Nemo hasn't had an easy start in life; his split ear tells a story of past hardship. We don't know exactly what happened to him, but it's clear why he would be wary of people and the big, scary world.
But here's the beautiful part: Nemo has improved so much. He’s developed trust with familiar staff, greeting them with big smiles and asking for yummy treats and affection. Did I mention he really loves treats? He hasn’t shown any aggression towards other dogs; in fact, he is curious and either wants to follow them or just watch them as they walk by. He is also a good walker. His confidence is growing daily, and with slow, gentle approaches, he now enjoys pets and cuddles.
Nemo's unique ear only adds to his charm. He's a brave soul, willing to trust again, and he deserves a loving home with a kind, patient human who will show him how beautiful life can be.
Just like his namesake, Nemo is ready to embark on an adventure to find his way home. Please open your heart and help him discover that the world is full of love and kindness. If you would like to finally give Nemo his long-awaited second chance, please email us, and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process!

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
