Everypawdy, meet Odin! This cutie pie is an absolute sweetheart and a gentle soul. He's a timid boy who is waiting for a home to call his own.
Odin has been at the shelter since August 2022, when he was estimated to be two months old, and he is still learning how the world works. However, he is improving every day and is showing more of his wonderful personality.
Here's what a volunteer had to say about Odin:
"Meet Odin! - Odin has been at the shelter since he was a puppy. He’s still pretty young, at just over a year. He’s quite timid and shy, unsure of the world, but had a very sweet personality. He just needs to get to know the world more.
Odin is an absolute cutie and sweetheart. He wasn’t too sure about receiving scratches but when he realized that they were okay, he was much more relaxed. As he relaxed, his personality shown through and I was able to see the playful pup that he is. He was such a goofball, curious about everything and wanting to sniff all of the plants.
Odin is still figuring out our walks. It took us a while to actually get moving as he was quite nervous. He wanted to stay near his roommates at all times, but out of all of them, he was the one to take charge and lead the way…as long as they were near him. However, as the walk continued, and his confidence grew, he started becoming a bit more independent and would venture away from his roommates.
Odin would do well in a home with another dog to show him the ropes, or with someone willing to take the time to bring out his confident self."
Odin is now looking for his own loving forever family that he can cuddle and go on amazing adventures with! If you would like to adopt the absolute sweetheart that is Odin, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the application process.
