Parker
Parker
Parker is truly a super mix - he appears to have handsome jindo and shiba inu features, but his ears are floppy like a lab and his coloration is more similar to a beagle! Parker will give you the best of all worlds! This charming boy was found wandering around an apartment complex on his own before he was brought to the shelter. We wonder if he was abandoned after living together with people, because he seems very comfortable with humans and always loves to meet volunteers! He is a waggy, happy boy who loves treats and walks and will smile happily at volunteers who have yummy snacks on hand! Parker seems like he would make such a great furry companion and deserves all the love in the world.
Here's what one of our volunteers had to say about Parker:
"Parker has got one of the prettiest coats of fur you will find, with a nice mix of brown and black. And he has a good personality to go with it. Our walk together was easy: Parker wanted to sniff for most of the way, and he would occasionally be intrigued by other dogs around him. But he did not pull strongly towards other dogs, and it was easy to divert his attention. He loves snacks, especially chicken, so on our breaks, I got all his attention. He stayed calmly as I sat down, although he was overwhelmed by the bicycles and cars that were passing by."
If you’d like to bring home charming happy boy Parker, send us an adoption application and we can give you more information about the adoption process!

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
