Pumba
Pumba
Estimated to have been born in 2020, Pumba scruffy male sapsali mixed breed who came to the shelter as a young pup in June 2020. He was found on the streets as a small 2 month old baby pup. Pumba was such a small scruff ball and now he’s a medium scruff ball. Pumba has grown up shy and closed off to the world since he couldn’t get a lot of human socialization at the shelter. It has been hard on Pumba whenever our volunteers try to take him out on a walk. He runs away and hides from us and usually we leave him be since we don’t want to force or traumatize him. Pumba used to be a young growing pup who was confident and now he needs someone special to help him get past his life at the shelter. Pumba has been quite sad with his living situation and we hope he has not lost hope of finding a forever home. We would love it if Pumba had a more stable and comfortable environment instead of the shelter.
Pumba is in desperate need of an amazing forever family who can provide him a calm home, love, and time for him to come out of her shell. We know that happy puppy is still in Pumba, he just needs the right place and time for him to flourish again. If you would like to adopt Pumba, please send us an email and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process~

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
