Reef is a 4-year-old male Labrador mixed breed weighing 26kg. He was admitted to our sister pound, Yongin Pound, in 2020. Unfortunately, Reef is currently on the Euthanasia List for the fourth time because he keeps getting overlooked due to his size, energy, and strength as a Labrador. However, Reef does not deserve to be on that list! He has the most adorable floppy ears, a little pink nose, and a bright, energetic personality. He is always thrilled when our volunteers take him for walks, exploring the outdoors while demanding cuddles, pets, and treats. All he wants is to become someone's giant lap dog and cuddle all day long!

Here's what our volunteers have to say about Reef:
"Meet Reef! He is a handsome, happy boy who loves meeting new people! Reef has an affectionate personality and seems like the happiest dog you will ever meet! He is always smiling. He loves being petted and hugged. He also loves giving kisses! He may be a little excited at first, but once he is comfortable, he becomes calm and relaxed. Sadly, he is currently on the Spring Euthanasia list, so Reef needs a new place to call home!"

Reef is unfortunately still on the Euthanasia List and is desperately searching for a forever family to give him a second chance at a bright future. Recently, Reef has been subjected to bullying by other dogs at the pound. They nip at his lower back and have been pulling out chunks of his fur. Regrettably, the pound staff, who are supposed to supervise playtime, have turned a blind eye and allowed it to happen. Let's save this loving cuddlebug! If you would like to adopt Reef, please contact us via email or submit an adoption application form, and we will assist you in starting the adoption process.

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
