Estimated to have been born in 2022, Rocky is a medium sized young jindo-mixed male.. He arrived at the shelter with his brother Rocky in the spring of 2022. They were called in at only two months old, living on the streets after their mother walked away one day and didn’t come back These two handsome boys have been growing up at the shelter ever since.
While his brother’s ears have pointed as he got older, Everest’s ears are funny because they never fully pointed, and just kind of flop on the very ends! Despite being named after towering mountains, these boys are still on the shy side, and Everest in particular is still learning how to be more confident with walking around on the leash. Everest trusts his brother, Rocky, and feels comfortable with Rocky by his side. When we go to take Everest out of his kennel, he gives us the “deer in the headlights” look because he is still so shy about coming out Because of this, we often end up carrying him like a baby! However, with each time he comes out he grows more and more confident! This cutie pie would really come out of his shell if he could live with a family and learn that the world and people are actually really safe and fun!

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.
Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
