Everypawdy, meet Sherbet! Sherbet is a 15kg female jindo mix. She came to our shelter in July with three newborn puppies that were just a week old. We call them the “Dessert Family” and named the puppies Chocolat, Tarte, and Gateau. Sherbet was initially wary of humans, which is very understandable since she came in with smol babies. However, Sherbet opened up to us once she realized that we are only here to help. She recognizes staff and regular volunteers, and lets us come in and hang out with her babies. She happily goes on walks with us to take breaks from parenting and will even give the staff kisses!

Shelter life must be stressful for sweet Sherbet, who is a great mama to her pups. She has relaxed a bit since we added an extra fence in front of her kennel, but she is still busy making sure her babies are out of harm’s way, nudging them away from the fence. The puppies are growing up to be healthy, curious, and playful, and Sherbet is now ready to be pampered by her own furever family! She has a pretty face and a very unique set of eyes - her left eye has a tint of light blue!

If you would like to welcome Sherbet and her sparkly eyes into your home, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process!

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
