Silas
Silas
Silas is a male jindo mix who has been at the shelter since 2020, around the same time as his kennelmate Bianca. Silas and Bianca are besties and it’s absolutely adorable to watch them feed off of each other’s happy vibes! He loves the outside world as long as he gets to be with hoomans and his furfriends! Silas has so much fun running around in the playpen and also outside by the riverwalk! He is even brave enough to step into the water during the hot days of summer! Silas is very treat motivated and loves to cuddle with our volunteers! He tries his hardest to be as close as possible to you cause he’s just a giant cuddle bug. Boy, oh boy, Silas is just a ball of optimistic energy who can brighten anyone’s day!
Here’s what one of our volunteers had to say about Silas:
“Silas is a sweet dog, and he was certainly very excited about the walk that we went on together. He loves chicken and he certainly munched everything down very quickly. Silas was fine walking with his kennel mate Bianca, but he was definitely getting aroused by all other dogs around him. He would benefit from the owner who invests the time to train him on how to behave around other dogs.”
Silas is looking for a forever home where he can shine his brightest and be his silly, cuddly self with a forever family who loves him for who he is and helps him channel his excited self in the right ways! If you would like to adopt this sunny boy, Silas, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process.

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
