Socks is a 15kg female mixed breed who came to the shelter in November of 2020! Socks was found on the side of the street and most likely ran up to people since she is such a sweet and gentle people pleaser. We were hoping someone would notice her here at the shelter since she has such an amazing personality but she has been at the shelter for a year now. She is energetic and ever so sweet during her walks and during cuddle sessions which just captures everyone’s hearts who meet her. However, she is a black dog and it’s difficult for her to be adopted here in Korea. We are hoping someone can find her white socks adorable and fall in love with her to bring her finally home.
Here’s what one of our volunteers had to say about Socks:
“Anyone need an exercise buddy? Meet Socks/삭스 from Kennel 2! It can not be understated the energy she has. My partner and I had a wonderful time walking with her. It was clear from the start how eager she was! She has super cute coloring, with the tips of her paws being white, hence the name!
She didn’t care much for other dogs or humans, but she wasn’t necessarily adverse to them. She loved the moments during our walk where we took time to run! I believe Socks would do well with a forever home that can offer her plenty of time outdoors to explore and play!”
Socks is looking for an active forever family who can take her on unlimited adventures of a lifetime! If you would like to adopt Socks, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process.

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
