Sooty is a male mixed breed who arrived at our shelter at the beginning of February 2021. Sooty was only 4 months old when he was found on the roadside near the shelter alone and all by himself. We don’t know why he was alone without his siblings or mom, but he is here with us now. Sooty has been growing up so well at our shelter! He is now a big boy who loves all people and doggies. Sooty is energetic and enjoys running and going into the water of the river during his walkies. Sooty is a really cute boy who just wants love!
Sooty is absolutely amazing! He is hyper and energetic, yes, but he is so sweet towards everybody! He even got the chance to go to an adoption event filled with people and kids and he was so gentle and lovely to all the little hoomans! All the kids loved how cool he looked and how friendly he was!
Here’s what one of our volunteers had to say about Sooty:
“I walked Sooty last week when he was wearing that darn cone around his head. Well, the cone came off, and he was finally able to fully enjoy himself on a nice, long walk! And, once again, Sooty was sitting nicely for treats and just being an all-around Good Boy. Sooty has lots of energy and he loves to explore, but he was also content to stay by my side when it was time for petting and photos. I can tell that Sooty will be very loving and extremely loyal to whoever is lucky enough to adopt him.”
Sooty is looking for a loving forever family who can go on exciting adventures and also cuddle with him at home! If you would like to adopt Sooty, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process.

  • Bahavior with cat or children

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
