Summer is an 18kg female jindo who arrived at our shelter in the middle of summer 2019. Summer is another one of our long-term jindo residents at our shelter and has been here patiently waiting for her turn to finally go home forever. Summer is a happy girl with the sweetest and happiest smile. She loves to be outside exploring her surroundings with her kennel mate, Spring. She also loves people and is very open to affection. She gets excited and happy whenever our volunteers give her some love. Even as she is using the bathrooms, she’ll keep smiling at our volunteers. It’s the most endearing thing ever! Summer is looking for a furever home and family where she can shine and spread her warmth!
Here's what one of our volunteers had to say about Summer:
"This soft, furry ball of energy is Summer! She had energy to burn, and burn it she did. We went for a run down the walking path, and eventually Summer was ready to sit for a minute and enjoy the sunset. She is sweet and friendly, and I think she would really thrive with someone who loves the outdoors as much as she does."
If you are missing the warmth of summer vacation, then our girl, Summer, will warm you right up with her bright and sunny charms! If you would like to adopt Summer, please send us an adoption application and we’ll help you get started on the adoption process.

Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.

  • Cost of the adoption

YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

  • Vaccinations and spaying

All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
