Everyone, meet Tate!

Tate is a friendly medium sized mixed breed boy who was discovered on his own as a 5~6 month old floppy-eared puppy at the end of 2022. From the beginning, everyone has noted how friendly and charming Tate is - even when he's unsure about something, he responds to everyone with a smile and a gumption to do whatever it is the people around him are doing.

Despite being at the shelter since puppyhood, Tate is super relaxed and friendly around people! He loves being with both people and dogs, and whenever he sees a human cuddling with another doggy, he manages to gently nudge his way in to request that he get all of the cuddles instead. He's a pretty chill guy who will let you do whatever with him - clipping his nails, brushing, picking him up, or going in the water.

Tate is a higher energy boy. When he comes out for walks at the shelter, he is full of excitement to go exploring. This does cause him to pull but with his sweet personality, he checks in quite frequently with his human walker. Over time, and with consistent exercise, we believe that he will turn into the biggest couch potato and enjoy relaxing with his family.

Tate is a friendly, wholesome, well-rounded gentleman who would do well in just about any home as long as he gets his daily exercise. If you’d like to adopt Tate, send us a message and we will get you started on the adoption process.
