Waffle arrived at our shelter at the end of April 2021. He was found on the streets wearing a red collar, so we checked for a microchip, but he didn't have one. Waffle waited, hoping that someone would come to pick him up and take him home, but unfortunately, no one ever came. Despite being at the shelter since then, Waffle is a cheerful and energetic pup, always ready to shower you with love! He has a bright smile and enjoys exploring the outdoors with our human volunteers. Waffle is a gentle and curious boy who absolutely adores the attention he receives from us. He's a cuddle bug and a real charmer!

Here's what one of our volunteers had to say about Waffle:
"He didn't have a name yet, so I decided to call him Waffle while we were walking. Waffle is truly beautiful. When other volunteers passed by, they couldn't help but notice his beauty and showered him with attention. When he first came out for a walk, he was very excited, making it a bit challenging to control him. However, as we progressed, he calmed down. He is an angelic and clever boy. At first, he pulled on the leash, but once he settled, he walked right beside me. He didn't show much interest in treats and simply strolled along the path, uninterested in the river. He responds well to commands such as 'wait,' 'slowly,' and 'let's go' without the need for treats. When he was doing well, I gave him plenty of pets. During our walk, he was quite excited and walked at a fast pace, but when I asked him to slow down, he adjusted his pace and walked by my side. It hasn't been long since he arrived at the shelter, so walking with him was a breeze. Maybe it was even too easy."

Waffle is now available for adoption and is eagerly waiting for a forever family who can give him the best life possible! If you would like to adopt Waffle, please contact us via email or submit an adoption application form, and we'll guide you through the adoption process!
