Walker
Walker
Walker is a husky mix boy who was admitted to our sister pound, Yongin Pound, at the beginning of 2022. He came in with scars on his face and a broken leg due to a car accident before being taken to the pound. Despite his injuries, his friendly demeanor and positive attitude instantly won the hearts of volunteers and staff! Thanks to the generous support we received, we were able to raise enough funds for Walker's leg surgery and provide him a place at one of our affiliated boarding schools where he could heal in a peaceful environment. These days, Walker spends his time happily prancing around on his mostly-healed leg, playing with his furry friends and enjoying the company of our human staff. He is the friendliest, waggiest, most adorable boy who captures your heart with his big smile and puppy dog eyes!
Even when he was still limping before his surgery, volunteers were amazed by Walker's upbeat and sweet nature. He loves all the attention he receives from both humans and dogs. Witnessing Walker's resilience and happiness despite everything he's been through is truly heartwarming. He is now ready for a forever family that can provide him with love and belly rubs for the rest of his life! If you're interested in adopting Walker, please contact us via email or submit an adoption application. Our partner rescue, Koastal Dog Rescue, based in Vancouver, is particularly interested in helping this amazing boy find a home. If you're applying from that area, feel free to reach out to them!

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
