Everypawdy, meet Wandeuk!
Wandeuk is a 18kg male jindo mix born around 2016, who we have been desperately trying to rescue from the Yongin City Pound ever since he arrived there three long years ago. He was placed on the euth list early on due to his dislike of other dogs and somewhat cautious personality. However, resilient Wandeuk has opened up so much from the timid boy he first arrived as! He now allows touch much more than before, and volunteers share that he is now a lovely boy who follows his walker’s lead very well on walks and loves to partake in treats! He is a gentle, good boy who minds his own business and just wants to enjoy the fresh air with his human! Wandeuk is a sweet angel with a teddy bear face and the cutest one ear up, one ear down charm and winning smile.
Overall, Wandeuk is a calm and independent soul who really needs a human to call his own before he opens up and shows his affectionate side. Wandeuk seems like the type of dog that will truly transform after an extended period of time living in a stable home with a loving family. He simply has not had that opportunity until now, through no fault of his own.
Fortunately we were recently able to transfer Wandeuk and a few other Yongin Pound euth list dogs to our new private shelter location where they will be safe from euthanasia, but with our limited space and resources this is definitely not a long term solution.
Adopting an older, more independent doggie like Wandeuk can be so rewarding! A little love and a warm home will go a long way. Wandeuk deserves a patient, loving, experienced forever family out there where he can be the only dog in the house receiving all the love, attention, and tasty treats! If you are interested in adopting Wandeuk, please email us, and we’ll help you bring this cute angel home!
