Yuni
Yuni
Yuni is a 13kg male mixed breed who was admitted to our shelter in 2020 March. He was only 7 months old and so innocent when he came to us. Yuni is still wholesome and innocent but also such a delightfully optimistic boy who just loves to love! He unconditionally loves hoomans and takes care in giving his fullest attention to us! He always goes around and says “hi” to everyone and we all can’t help but fall in love with his charm, so we have to give him love back! Yuni is enthusiastic about walkies and the water in the river and loves to run around in the playpen with his kennelmate, Hermione, as long as they are not getting themselves into trouble, that is.
This is what one of our volunteers had to say about Yuni:
“This is Yuni [and] this boy is a leader. He came out for his walk because his kennelmate was scared to come out. He came out and stayed by her to make sure she felt safe and was the greatest walking buddy. Throughout his walk, he stopped every 3-5 minutes, to turn around, stand on his hind legs, and hug his walker (as pictured). He also did the same to passing volunteers, sharing love wherever he went. It doesn't make any sense to me that this precious kid does not have a family. He is a dog that will always be his owner's keeper. His derpy and silly personality is meant to be shared with his forever hoomans.”
Here's what some of our volunteers had to say about Yuni:
"Yuni is truly a ray of sunshine. He's a boy full of joy and happy energy. Yuni is super playful, and his love for people and cuteness just explodes from the get-go! From the moment he came out of the kennel, he jumped up on me and gave me endless cuddles and kisses. He was so happy to be outside, wagging his tail and approaching the other volunteers for hugs too. He didn't pull too hard on the leash during our walk and paid a lot of attention to me. He would walk a little, while constantly turning his head to check if I'm still there, then jump up on me to give me more hugs and kisses."
"Yuni loves treats and sat so quickly for them. It seems like he will be very easy to train. I can see him doing well with a family who can give him an active lifestyle but also enjoy chill time cuddled up on their lap. He is really friendly, always stopping, watching, and trying to approach locals who are taking a walk. He also approached a young child happily and gently, so I think he would be good in a family with calm children too."
"Yuni is the biggest sweetheart with so much love to give. He deserves a family who will give him all the unconditional love in the world in return! If you would like to adopt Yuni, please contact us via email or submit an adoption application form. We'll assist you in starting the adoption process and help Yuni find a loving forever home!"

Bahavior with cat or children
Our dogs are rescued from meat farms or reported from the street and brought to our shelter. That's why we do not have information on how they behave with cats or children.
-
Cost of the adoption
YAPA does not gain any profit from the dogs' adoption. Adopters need to cover the transportation and documentation fee for the government.

Vaccinations and spaying
All our dogs are spayed and vaccinated by an approved vet before being sent to the adoptor. The costs of the procedures are covered by our donations.
